Wildlife species known to inhabit Warrawood include eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus), swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor), short-beaked echidnas (Tachyglossus aculeatus), brush tail possums (Trichosurus Vulpecula), bare-nosed wombats (Vombatus ursinus), common blue tongue lizards (Tiliqua scincoides scincoides), eastern long necked tortoises (Chelodina longicollis) and a range of native bird species.
