Tanya Jones is the owner of Where The Wild Things Are, a property located approximately 5km south of Alice Springs. The property is a residence and dedicated wildlife sanctuary used for educational purposes. It is Tanya’s intent for the property to continue to preserve habitat for the benefit of local wildlife.

Where The Wild Things Are covers 200 hectares and is situated at the bottom of the Ancient Ranges. Native bushland predominantly consists of arid vegetation and connects directly with Emily Gap in the East MacDonnell Ranges.

Wildlife known to inhabit the sanctuary includes red kangaroos (Macropus rufus), black-footed rock wallabies (Petrogale lateralis) and euros (Macropus robustus).
