Wildlife Land Trust / Sanctuaries / NSW / Nullus Anxietas

Ian Quartermaine is the owner of Nullus Anxietas, a property situated in Tuntable Creek, approximately 10km south of Nimbin, New South Wales. The property is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary with a small portion cleared for an off-grid residence and an orchard. It is Ian’s intent to maintain the property as a dedicated wildlife sanctuary and as a residence for his son to explore horticultural pursuits.

The property spans approximately 6.9 hectares of pristine, native bushland set on a ridgetop. Vegetation includes a variety of eucalypts and native grasses although, with access to some parts of the property limited due to the density of the bush, the entire plant-life present is still unknown.

Wildlife species known to inhabit the property include swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor), brush turkeys (Alectura lathami) and an abundance of birds, snakes, frogs and other species.
