Wildlife Land Trust / Sanctuaries / NSW / Karma

Peter and Shirley Lack are the owners of Karma, a property located in Tomerong, approximately 20km South of Nowra. The sanctuary consists of 6 hectares of predominantly heavily wooded old growth forest, of which around half a hectare has been cleared for the house and animal compounds. The sanctuary is a residence and dedicated wildlife sanctuary. Shirley has been a wildlife rehabilitator for 30 years, and intends to continue these efforts utilising the wombat and kangaroo holding compounds present on Karma.

Wildlife present on Karma includes eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus), brushtail (Trichosurus vulpecula) and ringtail (Pseudocheirus peregrinus) possums, sugar gliders (Petaurus breviceps) and a variety of snake, lizard and bird species.
