Wildlife Land Trust / Sanctuaries / NSW / Misty Hills Sanctuary

Liesl Perryman and Michael Pottinger are the owners of a property situated in Reidsdale, approximately 55km northwest of Batemans Bay, New South Wales. The property is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary and rehabilitation site for wildlife, particularly wombats.

The property covers 15 hectares and backs on to Monga National Park to the east. It is comprised of grassland and eucalypt woodlands.

A wide range of wildlife is present including eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus), swamp (Wallabia bicolor) and red-necked (Macropus rufogriseus) wallabies and bare-nosed wombats (Vombatus ursinus). An array of birdlife is present including superb lyrebirds (Menura novaehollandiae).
