Wildlife Land Trust / Sanctuaries / NSW / Goanna Gumgali

Vicki Cullen is the owner of Goanna Gumgali, a property situated in Blaxlands Creek, approximately 80km northwest of Coffs Harbour, New South Wales. The property is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary and habitat corridor, additionally registered with the NSW Government’s Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT). Vicki intends to preserve the property and regenerate native habitat for the benefit of wildlife.

The property covers approximately 16.2 hectares and is situated between three bio-geographic reserves known as Koukandowie Nature Reserve. Vegetation is comprised largely of eucalypt woodland and the property features a small area of cleared native grassland.

Wildlife present on the property includes koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus), swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor), gliders, bats and owls.
