A residence, hobby farm and dedicated wildlife sanctuary

Description

Jason and Kylie-Maree Jarrett are the owners of Labri, a property located approximately 50km south of Brisbane. The property is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary and residence, and it is Jason and Kylie-Maree's intent to keep the majority of the property for these uses, with the potential addition of a horse and small herd of cows in a designated section.

The property covers 7.68 hectares featuring natural bushland and three dams, with vegetation types including various eucalypts such as blue gums (Eucalyptus globulus), grey gums (Eucalyptus punctata) and ironbarks (Eucalyptus paniculata), as well as she-oaks and ferns in some areas.

A wide range of wildlife species are known to occur on the sanctuary, with examples including northern brown bandicoots (Isoodon macrourus), king parrots (Alisterus scapularis), eastern rosellas (Platycercus eximius), laughing kookaburras (Dacelo novaeguinea), whiptail wallabies (Macropus parryi), koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus), short-beaked echidnas (Tachyglossus aculeatus) and lace monitors (Varanus varius).
