A residence, stable and dedicated wildlife sanctuary

Saul Tzipori and Galit Rawlinson own a property located approximately 25km south-west of Brisbane. The property is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary with wildlife-friendly fencing throughout and provides for two horses. It is Saul and Galit's intent for the property to continue to be used for the benefit of the local environment, with 2.8 hectares protected by a Brisbane City Council covenant.

The property covers approximately 4 hectares with a covenanted area of heavily revegetated bushland bordered by the Brisbane River. Vegetation types include eucalypt woodlands and a riparian zone along the riverbank.

Wildlife known to inhabit the sanctuary include swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor), red-bellied black snakes (Pseudechis porphyriacus), carpet pythons (Morelia spilota), and a variety of birdlife including yellow-tailed black cockatoos (Calyptorhynchus funereus), wrens and fantails.
