Rebecca Askey-Doran is the owner of Juwumba Farm, a property situated in Warrubullen, approximately 100km south of Cairns, Queensland. The property is a home and dedicated wildlife sanctuary, with the vast majority of the land protected as a Nature Refuge. Rebecca is also in the process of building a campground and education centre on the property.

The property covers approximately 74.45 hectares, with 68.8 protected in-perpetuity as a Nature Refuge. The protected areas are comprised of pristine tropical rainforest, and the 4-hectare area around the homestead features rare tropical fruit species.

Wildlife is abundant and includes short-beaked echidnas (Tachyglossus aculeatus), agile wallabies (Macropus agilis), pademelons (Thylogale spp.), monitors and snakes. A wide range of birdlife is also present including southern cassowaries (Casuaris casuaris), purple swamphens (Porphyrio melanotus), eagles and starlings.
