Wildlife Land Trust / Sanctuaries / SA / Norton Summit Vineyards

Kenn Fisher and Meredyth Taylor are the owners of Norton Summit Vineyards, a property located approximately 15km east of Adelaide, South Australia. The property is a vineyard and wildlife-friendly sanctuary, and it is Kenn and Meredyth’s intent to continue to plant and encourage native wildlife species to inhabit the area.

The sanctuary covers approximately 7 hectares with species of acacias and eucalypts including brown stringy barks (Eucalyptus baxteri), candlebarks (Eucalyptus dalrympliana) and Adelaide blue gums (Eucalyptus leucoxylon). The original 6 acres of native bush on the property have been planted with additional native species to help produce wildlife corridors.

Wildlife species known to inhabit the property include a variety of native species such as koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus) and western grey kangaroos (Macropus fuliginosus).
