Annie Whitehead and Karen Christie are the owners of Baile, a property located approximately 140km northwest of Launceston, Tasmania. The property is a residence and wildlife-friendly sanctuary and it is Annie and Karen’s intent for Baile to remain for these purposes while they continue to study the fauna and vegetation types present and protect and improve the natural environment.
The property covers 4.3 hectares of native bushland and pasture, including a spring fed dam. The owners are yet to document the native flora and fauna species present on the property.
