Description

Lisa Booth is the owner of a property located approximately 15km northwest of Hobart. The property is a residence and dedicated wildlife sanctuary, and it is Lisa's intent to further provide for local species through a native garden.

The sanctuary covers approximately 0.81 sloping hectares of grassland with scattered Eucalypts and some other native tree species growing on a mudstone soil type. Wildlife species known to occur on the sanctuary include Bennett's wallabies (Macropus rufogriseus rufogriseus), brushtail possums (Trichosurus vulpecula), a variety of frogs, and bird species such as yellow-throated honeyeaters (Lichenostomus flavicollis), Tasmanian native hens (Tribonyx mortierii) and black currawongs (Strepera fuliginosa).
