Corey Thompson and Jo Osborne are the owner and manager of Forest Haven B&B, a property located approximately 50km west of Ballarat. The property is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary and Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a forest setting, it is Corey and Jo’s intent for it to continue in these purposes.
The sanctuary covers 3.85 hectares of land featuring native grassland and predominantly eucalypt tree species. Examples of wildlife species known to be found on Forest Haven B&B include eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus), brushtail (Trichosurus vulpecula) and ringtail (Pseudocheirus peregrinus) possums, short-beaked echidnas (Tachyglossus aculeatus), and a wide variety of lizard and bird species.
