Name Wildlife Lands Issue 12 (2013)

There is little doubt that private lands are critical to biodiversity conservation in Australia. With the majority of land being managed by private landholders, areas dedicated to conservation significantly contribute to healthy ecosystems and habitat preservation, fulfilling important functions by increasing the area of wildlife habitat preserved and often connectivity in the wider landscape. Such landholders form a diverse community, and the Wildlife Land Trust seeks to unite those interested in providing for native wildlife through a supportive and like-minded network.
